DRIVING DIRECTIONS

• From I-15, take the Provo Center Street Exit 265 and continue straight after the light at the end of the exit.
• Follow the road around to head East on Center Street
• Turn left onto 500 West
• Turn right onto 500 North
• Cross University Avenue
• Provo City Library is on your left
• Park in above-ground or underground parking

PARKING DIRECTIONS

Parking is free for Library patrons and attendees of scheduled events in the building. Two above-ground parking lots frame the library on the north and south. A one-level underground parking garage may be entered from the east side of the library, off 100 East.

PLEASE BE AWARE:

The clearance for the entrance to the underground garage is 8 feet 3 inches. Additionally, there are portions of some beams in the garage which dip as low  7 feet, which are marked as such.

Any unauthorized vehicle left overnight in the underground parking garage may be towed at the owner’s expense. 

ACCESSIBLE PARKING

For easiest access to the Library

1. Park in the South above-ground lot, parallel to 500 North.
2. There are three accessible parking stalls available and a wheelchair accessible ramp to the right of the South Entrance to the Library.  
3. Additional accessible parking is available in the underground parking garage on both the North and South sides of the building.
4. Take the elevator up one floor to reach the Library.

For easiest access to the Academy Building, which includes the Academy Ballroom, #315, other meeting rooms, and Project Read, #215:

1. Enter the underground parking garage off 100 East. 
2. Drive the length of one side of the garage, turn right and park near the yellow “Academy Entrance” sign. 
3. Two accessible parking stalls are located near this entrance.
4. Go through the Academy Entrance, and use the elevator at the end of the hall. 
5. The Academy Ballroom is on the third floor; the Scheduling Office, Project Read, and most meeting rooms are on the second floor.

The links below show the floor plan of each level of the Provo City Library. Note that the first floor connects both the Acadamy wing, and the newer Rogers wing. All other levels are seperated by between the two wings, as they are not directly connected.

For easiest access to the Academy Ballroom, #315: 

1. Enter the underground parking garage off 100 East
2. Drive the length of one side of the garage, turn right and park near the yellow “Academy Entrance” sign  
3. Go through the Academy Entrance
4. Walk down the hall to the elevator, and select 3rd floor.  You will be facing the Ballroom as you step off the elevator.

If your vehicle will not fit through the garage entrance, we have a loading dock and ramp on the north side of the Library grounds at the  approximate halfway point, between the two wings of the Library. Vehicles can back down the ramp and make a request at the security desk or events office to have the loading dock opened for you to bring your items inside.
