Library Adventures: Let's Go Birding

Provo River Delta

Saturday, September 12
9:00am - 10:00am

Meet us at the Utah Lake Shore Trailhead and let's go birding!

Get tips for spotting incredible birds from experienced birder, Mike Marshall (founder of FeatherQuest.com).

Meet at the Utah Lake Shore Trailhead with binoculars, sunscreen, bug spray, and your best eyes for birding. This location is excellent for beginning birders; it's a gentle walk, and there are always tons of birds to see (even without binoculars).

The trailhead is at the west end of Boat Harbor Drive. There are about 15 shoulder parking stalls on the road leading to the trail. Another parking option is a small parking lot or shoulder parking on North Boat Harbor Drive (the road you turn on right before you get to Utah Lake State Park), and then it's just a short walk north and west to the meeting place.

Curious what this adventure will be like? Check out a recap of our last birding adventure on the Delta.
